Moby Wrap VS Solly Baby Wrap

We love baby wearing! I am sure I will be carrying my baby until she is 18 years old and I am taking her to college. I feel like baby wearing allows me to accomplish things in my day to day life while still bonding with my baby. Baby wearing is also great because I can hold my newborn and still play with my older children. Wraps are very comfortable - you can wear your baby for a few hours!

Moby Wrap Originals

About: 100% Cotton baby wrap carrier
Price: $44.95
Ease of Use: We found it super obnoxious when putting the wrap on. It was hard to get everything situated, while keeping the fabric strait, and ready to use with your baby. It does get easier to use once you get the hang of it. There is almost too much fabric for a wrap. The extra fabric ensures that one size fits all. Since there is too much fabric it's a little to hard to store in your diaper bag. The fabric is thick and since you have to wrap it around your body multiple times, it can be too hot and heavy to wear in the warmer months.
Looks: Fun colors and patterns
Found At: Online, Babies"R"Us, and baby boutiques
Quality: Strong and durable fabric that will hold up with multiple washes.
Best Use: Baby wearing for babies between 8 and 35 pounds.
Our Rating: 2 out of 5 stars

Solly Baby Wrap

About: Certified Lenzing Modal is a luxuriously silky soft, sustainable knit made from Austrian beech wood trees and manufactured in the USA.
Price: $65.00
Ease of Use: We found the Solly easier to put on because the fabric is so light weight. The Solly has a pocket that you can use while wearing your baby to keep binkies, cellphone, etc. Then the wrap folds into the pocket for easy storage that does't take up too much space in your diaper bag.  It is great to wear in summer because of the light weight material.

Our Rating: 5 out 5 stars
